Out on Ellum Records is this great EP from Good Guy Mikesh. An EP of original tracks, 'Place of Love' features production partner Filburt, its dark, beautiful and warm music for cold winter nights. A-side and Maceo Plex edit of A Place Of Love feat. Filburt is a disco-laced chugger with deep bass and epic strings, On Patrol is a slow building languorous affair with flickering machine fuzz while Holy Day brings some big drums into play with a ghostly soundbed of chimes and FX. Multifaceted British imprint Underground Audio came out all guns blazing recently, with their debut release, Underground Fables Volume 1, proving they mean business. Their latest record comes courtesy of the equally fledgling Soul Button, with the German producer turning in the magnificent In My Stride alongside esteemed Irish vocalist Stee Downes. With remixes from Atapy, Habischman, Sasch BBC & Caspar. My favorite would have to be the Atapy remix.
